Truist raises Fortive PT ahead of Q3 results

** Truist Securities raises Fortive  FTV.N  target price to
$90 from $82, a 17% upside to stock's last close
    ** Co maintained FY 2024 forecast after announcing spinoff
of its Precision Technologies segment on Sept. 5; set to report
Q3 results on Oct. 30
    ** Brokerage believes "discussion will be around organic
growth, the acquisition of EA Elektro-Automatik Holdings" and
strategy/capital allocation for the rest of the co after the
spinoff 
    ** 14 of 20 brokerages rate stock "buy" or higher and six
"hold"; their median PT is $86.50 - LSEG data
    ** Stock up 3.82% YTD, as of last close
